eLearning with open-EIS |
The eLearning module (WBT) of the open-EIS allows the building, maintenance, implementation and evaluation of online-courses including the option of individual online-exams: no matter whether product- or action-based courses. The content of these courses can be generated dynamically from the basis, the EIS-database. Furthermore the contents are accessible irrespective of place, time and person. With the help of this module enterprises as well as administrations can cover the demand of advanced trainings of their employees easily. The eLearning module also assures an intrinsical reduction of costs. The advantages of an online-course Classic CBT-programs are mostly allocated on CD-ROM and have to be installed on every single client-PC of all participants. Whereas a WBT (web-based training) can be offered conveniently on the Internet or the in-house intranet or extranet: the software only has to be installed once on the central server. The course is accessible with a standard Internet browser. Additional installations on the client-PCs become redundant. Open-EIS and Scorm The SCORM standard is supported by the open-EIS XML-interface. A great advantage of the open-EIS WBT-module is its re-usable, medium-neutral eLearning information-management: all courses and contents designed with the WBT-module can be used without any alterations. This also implies that all courses created with the open-EIS WBT-module can be exported to SCORM compliant systems. You can exchange your courses arbitrarily and offer them on the market. Of course your customers are not dependent on open-EIS. Courses designed with the open-EIS are future-proof, re-usable and marketable! Creating contents With the open-EIS WBT module (eLearning module) everybody can create his/her individual WBT-courses: without any knowledge of HTML and without the necessity of installing special "plugins".
